Its customers are located in key sectors such as mechanical and plant engineering, mining, agriculture and the automotive industry. With around 46,000 employees, the company uses its development and materials expertise for products and systems made of rubber, plastic, metal, fabric and electronic components to combine these with individual services. Continental Industry also offers functional and design-oriented solutions for living spaces and is always looking for customer-oriented and environmentally friendly answers – far beyond its roots as a producer of rubber products.

The challenge

Interactive 3D application for trade fairs

This project presented us with an exciting challenge: the development of an interactive application for trade fairs, specifically tailored to the agricultural sector. The aim was not only to present Continental’s products for agricultural machinery, but also to bring them to life in an application context. The application should not only present the current products in the best possible light, but also be designed to be flexible enough to be easily expanded to include products from other business areas in the future. A task that required a deep understanding of both the technical aspects of the products and the specific needs and challenges of the agricultural sector.

Our solution

Immersive technology meets creative presentation

We found the answer to this complex task in the development of a customized web application that is available in German and English in order to appeal to a broad international audience. The navigation of the application is consistently product-oriented, with intuitive links that lead users to more detailed information on the Internet.

To make Continental’s products for agricultural machinery not only visible, but tangible, we integrated immersive video sequences that show the applications in real-life scenarios. A particular focus was on the integration of 3D models, which were adapted and integrated in close cooperation with Continental’s product management. This interactive solution creates an impressive, user-friendly platform that highlights and makes tangible the technological advances and added value of Continental’s products in the agricultural sector.
